- Ruling 34 keeps the verb "serve" with every object. With "the ground" (2:5; 3:23; 4:2, 12) the collocation is tilling; with "keep" (2:15) it is the Levites' service of the tent (Num 3:7–8; 18:5–7). The chain wins (37); notes give the local sense.
