Note

To marry into a family as a γαμβρός, a kinsman by marriage; in Gen 38:8 of the levirate marriage, for the Masoretic version's "do the brother-in-law's duty" (יָבַם piel). The compound ἐπιγαμβρεύω is "become in-laws" (34:9; Matt 22:24)
